Daniel Galhardo

Daniel Galhardo is the founder of Tenkara USA and the first person to introduce tenkara, a simple Japanese method of fly-fishing to the US. At Tenkara USA Daniel focuses on sharing the tenkara story and engaging an audience through a strong multi-media content strategy. Tenkara USA has opened the doors to many newcomers to the sport of fly-fishing. And, thru its “tenkara+” messaging and ultra-portable and minimalist equipment they have shown outdoor enthusiasts how to add fishing to their favorite activity, whether it may be biking, running, backpacking or hiking.
