Kristin Canning is the features director at Women’s Health, where she assigns, edits and reports long-form features on emerging health research and technology, women’s health conditions, psychology, sexuality, mental health, reproductive justice, wellness entrepreneurs, women athletes, women in the outdoors, and the intersection of health, fitness, and culture for both the magazine and the website.
She’s worked in health and fitness media for seven years, holding prior positions at Health, SELF, and Men’s Health. When she’s not writing and editing, you can find her running, hiking, cycling, dancing, listening to podcasts, dying her hair rainbow colors, or planning her next outdoor adventure. She’s been nomadic for the past eight months, traveling the country, visiting as many National Parks as possible, and camping in her SUV while working remotely. Kristin is currently training to summit Mt. Whitney in a day in September, for a sprint triathlon in Bermuda in October, and for the New York City Marathon in November. You can follow her on Instagram at @kriscann, where she documents her work and travels.
