Nancy Prichard Bouchard, Ph.D., has been a writer, athlete, and communications consultant in the outdoor world for more than 30 years. She handles media relations for adidas Five Ten. Her writing has appeared in Outside, Men’s Journal, and Playboy magazines, and appeared on The Today Show, ESPN, National Geographic TV and PBS. She is a former editor of Rock and Ice magazine and was a sponsored climber for more than a decade. She met her husband, John Bouchard, while they both were competing in the X- Games, and they have raised their three children with the same enthusiasm for outdoor sports that they both share.
