Charles Cooper is Founder and Managing Partner of Brumidi Group, providing strategic advisory services to Fortune 100 companies, non-profits, trade associations, and coalitions. With nearly two decades in the political process, he helps clients navigate federal legislative, regulatory, and political landscapes—developing advocacy, communications, and political positioning strategies to advance policy priorities and manage D.C. brand positioning. Charles has led efforts to pass historic laws, prevent policy risk, and shape regulatory decisions. He also advises organizational leaders on acquisitions, structure, crisis management, and partnerships, and speaks regularly at conferences and to boards.
Before founding Brumidi Group, Charles was Managing Director and Chair of Advocacy at another firm and spent over a decade on Capitol Hill, including as chief of staff to a Member of Congress and congressional leadership office. He holds a dual Bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University, where he serves on the alumni board.
