The editor and publisher of Summit Journal, Michael Levy has been writing about climbing for a decade, and falling off climbs for much longer. Michael has reported on the climbing world from Europe, Africa, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, South America, and across the U.S. His work has appeared in The New York Times, Men’s Journal, Sierra, Outside, and Mountain Gazette, among other publications. He was formerly a senior editor at both Rock & Ice and Climbing magazines.
